ViewSonic, the world's second largest display producer, has planned to move its global service center to Wuhan, Hubei Province and have it formally operate within a month.
This is the first time that ViewSonic has set a global business center outside the United States. Located in Donghu High-tech Zone, ViewSonic's Wuhan global service cetner will be responsible for processing the orders from all markets and providing logistics and information system support. Right now, ViewSonic is busy recruiting new staff for the center which is said to host at least 500 employees.
He Junling, a spokesperson of ViewSonic China, has told local media that relocating their global service center to Wuhan is a strategic selection of the company as China has become the largest market for ViewSonic. Furthermore, she said that Wuhan, which lies in the center of China, provides more opportunities for ViewSonic to penetrate easily into other parts of China.
