SMG Partners With Microsoft On Entertainment Service

Shanghai Media Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Microsoft on entertainment applications for PCs, television and mobile phones.
According to the memorandum of understanding reached between the two companies, SMG, as an entertainment content and service provider and Microsoft, a technology and platform supplier, will integrate their content, technology and electronic products to offer more entertainment service for the consumers. Li Ruigang, CEO of SMG, said that through this cooperation, the parties will integrate their channels and resources to extend their service to the individual terminal field.
In 2000, Microsoft and SMG first cooperated on Windows Media, MSN and other digital media technologies.
