Led by Capital Today and General Catalyst Partners, the round had participation from new and existing investors Granite Global, IDG China, JAFCO Asia, KTB Ventures and JAIC.
"As our audience in China continues to grow and spend more time on Tudou, there will be tremendous potential for advertisers to increase brand awareness with a large, absorbed Chinese audience," said Gary Wang, founder and CEO. "We are excited to work with our investment partners to create value for our audience, advertisers and content partners."

What are some other video sharing websites in China? I understand that Google Video is not possible to view over there yet. What about youtube? Can anybody verify if this is true or not? Also does anyone know about laws about video sharing online and if Tudou and other companies are following those?
