NEC To Enlarge Sales Network In China

Considering the rapid increase of China's semiconductor market, Japanese electronic manufacturer NEC said it would quickly enlarge its sales network in the country in the coming three years.
NEC plans to also increase the sales in China from JPY50 billion in 2006 to JPY100 in 2010.
At present, NEC has four business sites in China located in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, respectively. According to local media, the company believes that China's electronic market will increase annually by 10% and they would add one business site in China's interior and one in the coastal areas of the country. NEC will also increase the number of marketing and design personnel to 50.
In addition, NEC plans to add about 100 new sales and marketing staff in China each year in the coming three years.
