Kingdee Joins Hands With IBM For E-commerce

Kingdee has announced plans to fully enter China's e-commerce market following IBM's (IBM) injection of investment into the company.
Kingdee's new e-commerce strategy aims to provide an e-commerce platform that provides one-stop services. The company says their e-commerce strategy is an extension of their program of creating customized ERP for clients. Xu Shaochun, chairman of Kingdee, has told local media that with the constant popularization of Internet applications, the B2B business model has become a trend and it is inevitable for ERP to be integrated with e-commerce.
Sun Ximing, general manager of IBM Greater China Region Service Flow Subcontract Department, who attended the release ceremony, said that IBM is confident in helping Kingdee be an excellent SaaS supplier in China.
