Following China Yahoo's launching of a "Lifetime Emailbox", Netease (NTES), the largest email service provider in China, now plans to offer its new email service that features unlimited capacity.
Netease says all the users of its email services can upgrade to enjoy this new service.
Local media speculates that though service costs for email service providers won't be increased dramatically in the coming years by offering this kind of new service, the constant development of Internet application and the cost for servers and bandwidth may face bigger challenges.
Shen Jianming, vice president of China Yahoo, says he hopes that Netease can have its email service mutually connect with that of China Yahoo to provide more convenience to users.
