Microsoft Will Set Up Innovation Center In Chongqing

Zhang Yaqin, senior vice president of Microsoft (MSFT) China, has told media that Microsoft will set up an innovation center in Chongqing this year to encourage more university students to join in software and information technology innovation.
Zhang introduces that Microsoft, which has already had sales and technology center in Chongqing, will partner with Chongqing University this year to establish Microsoft China Innovation Center in Chongqing, to extend the company's business in Chongqing as well as that in the entire western part of China and attract more innovative university students to participate in software development.
According to Zhang, Microsoft's Vista operating system has seen rising sales volumes in the global market and he hopes that more users in Chongqing will go to have a try of this new system.
