Huawei Wins HSPA Contract From France Telecom's Orange

Following the winning of an HSPA contract with Japan's eMobile, Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei has won another UMTS/HSPA contract from PTK Centertel, an affiliate of France Telecom's Orange in Poland.
Huawei will undertake 50% of the UMTS/HSPA project.
According to the contract, Huawei will deploy thousands of HSPA distribution base stations for PTK Centertel in major cities in Poland in the coming three years to meet the latter's demand.
Xu Wenwei, president of Huawei in Europe, says that Huawei's cooperation with FT/Orange in the mobile communications field in deepening and Huawei is glad to cooperate with Orange in Poland and will be engaged in providing fast and high quality service for the latter.
