News from Chinese anti-virus company Jiangmin is that during the past October Golden Week holiday, three types of computer virus were rampant in China, putting up to one million computers in peril.
According to Jiangmin, the three viruses were USB viruses transmitted via USB or other mobile devices and trojan horses that were intent on stealing computer game accounts in China. Different from that of the previous year's holiday, the computer viruses of this year were derivative of previous viruses.
Anti-virus experts remind users to immediately update their anti-virus software so as to prevent the spreading of the viruses after they come back to work after the holiday.
