AsiaInfo Holdings (ASIA) has signed a contract with China Telecom to provide billing solutions for its ongoing extended TD-SCDMA trial.
Under the terms of the agreement, AsiaInfo will develop an online charging system for China Telecom's extended next generation wireless network trial in China's Hebei province.
The system will meet Third Generation Partnership Project standards and China Telecom's OCS specifications. AsiaInfo's OCS solution will also provide real-time billing for both pre- and post-paid subscribers and support the convergence of China Telecom's fixed- line, broadband and future mobile services.
