China's Ministry of Information Industry has once again exposed 13 illegal service providers, including Tom.com and Tencent.
MII reportedly checked 271 service providers and these 13 service providers have been found to be engaged in misleading promotions, non-standardized prices and offering unqualified media interactive services. MII says that the infringement of these service providers have been verified by their respective telecom operators who have issued a punishment to these service providers by either halting cooperation with them or deducted their accumulated scores and payments.
Apart from Tom and Tencent, Hua'ao Shiji (Beijing) Investment Co., Ltd; Shanghai Weilan Computer Company; and Sichuan Changcheng Software Technology Company are also on MII's blacklist.
