Liu Yan, director of SRRC, says the BQTE is intended to provide more localized services for Chinese enterprises. Liu says there is not a detailed price right now for the testing as SRRC has just obtained the BQTE, but he adds that Bluetooth testing prices in China will be made based on test costs, personnel costs and lab operation costs while alos trying to stay aligned with the international standard.
Bluetooth SIG is an international industry organization made up of manufacturers from the telecom, computing, vehicle manufacturing and home appliance industries. Its mission is to supervise the development of Bluetooth technology, provide Bluetooth certification and issue trademark licenses to manufacturers. Currently, there are 22 BQTFs in the world.
