GE Enters Strategic Marketing Cooperation With Alibaba

General Electric has reached a strategic cooperation with Alibaba and it will spend millions purchasing the online promotion service offered by the online trading platform.
This is the first time that GE has started such large scale marketing on the Internet in China. GE says it will use Alibaba's buyer tool and platform to seek and select new suppliers.
Hans Chia, general manager of GE Consumer and Industrial Group Greater China, says that Alibaba's online platform will provide better suppliers for GE and it will also help GE better promote its products and service to enterprises in China.
