Chinese mobile value-added services firm Hurray (HRAY) says it has terminated its previously announced agreements with Beijing TV Media Company for the formation of a joint venture.
Instead, the two companies will continue to cooperate in a strategic partnership to promote wireless application services for BTV programs. Neither company gave particular reasons for the end of this agreement.
While providing wireless value-added services to mobile users in China, Hurray also dabbles in artist development, music production and offline distribution in China through its record labels Huayi Brothers Music, Freeland Music, New Run Entertainment, and Secular Bird.
