Tang Ru'an, general manager of Datang Mobile, has reportedly resigned from the company.
It is reported in multiple local media sources that though he might have not completed claiming the formalities for the resignation, Tang submitted a resignation letter to the China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, an organization that shares the same group of management with Datang Telecom Group, which later held a meeting and agreed on Tang's resignation.
Appointed as general manager of Datang Mobile in 2002, Tang is said to be a leading figure in the industrialization of Datang's TD-SCDMA. His resignation is believed to have nothing to do with his performance because he had reportedly achieved quite a satisfactory result during his tenure.
Xie Yongbin, a senior vice president of Datang Mobile, will take over Tang's duties following his resignation.
