Sony China has invested and opened a Sony Style sale and experience store in Shanghai, the first of its kind in the Chinese mainland.
Li Xi, a spokesperson from Sony China, says that the first Sony Style in China is located in the bustling business area of Huaihai Road in Shanghai and has been renovated from the original Sony Dream Garden.
Occupying a total area of about 1050 square meters, Sony Style consists of three floors. Apart from displaying Sony's products, it also provides sales and repairs. Li says that Sony has no plans for opening similar stores in other cities in China right now.
Sony has been previously relying on retail dealers to sell its home appliance and IT products in China.
