LG-Philips Guangzhou Factory Put In Trial Operation

LG-Philips LCM Factory in Guangzhou Development Zone has been put into trial operation and is expected to initiate formal operations in March or April 2008.
A representative from the facility says that during the trial operation, the facility can not reach the designed capacity of producing 100,000 LCD modules each month, but 50% of the LCD modules it produces will be used for computers and the remainder used on LCD TV.
LG-Philips LCM Factory is another major LCM project in Guangdong and will bring great benefit to Guangdong's flat planel TV industry.
