PCCW Rents China Netcom's Guangzhou Service Center

PCCW announced that it would rent the service center of Guangdong Netcom, an affiliate of China Netcom, and the related facilities for a period of 15 years with an additional five years for possible rental renewal.
PCCW said that the rental sum for the service center would vary from CNY28.1 million in the first year to CNY43.1 million in the last year and it would include the annual rent, service fee, tax and electricity surcharge. Guangdong Netcom has offered a 5% discount for PCCW.
PCCW said that the agreement with Guangdong Netcom would enable it to provide stable and reliable service for its customers and help it to realize its business goal and enhance its core businesses.
