Qihoo.com has initiated a new domain name and website at qikoo.com.
Qihoo announced the shift from qihoo.com to qikoo.com on January 31, 2008 and in the meantime plans to shift each channel and related service, excluding jingyan.qihoo.com under qihoo.com to the new domain name.
Qihoo did not give any reason on why it had changed the domain name and website. A representative from the company's PR department said that the company launched the new domain name to separate cartoons and animated pictures from Qihoo.com and it more specialized in graphics. After Qihoo completes the placement of the cartoons and animations on qikoo.com, it will use its old website to promote its Experience Channel.
