Following the first round of bidding for 60,000 TD terminals, China Mobile has decided to further expand the bidding of TD online cards.
The TD Alliance says that China Mobile has increased the bidding for TD wireless online cards by 15,000, of which ZTE won 10,000 and Datang 5,000. The reason for China Mobile's increase of the purchase is that the demand for TD mobile phones and terminal cards have increased with the completion of TD tests in different parts of the country.
At present, China Mobile has not decided when to put the newly purchased TD mobile phones into the market. It is estimated that China Mobile may give away part of the mobile phones and give priority in issuing the phones to its staff and relevant clients.
