Nokia China Initiates New Headquarters In Beijing

Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia (NOK) has formally launched its new China headquarters Nokia China Park in Beijing.
Involving a total investment of CNY450 million, Nokia China Park is located in the Beijing's Yizhuang Economic Development Zone and it, along with Nokia's original Xingwang Industrial Park, forms Nokia's largest mobile phone park in the world. Nokia has already moved its operational departments, including regional headquarters, China R&D Center, Product Design and Mobile Phone Production to the new park.
Nokia also announced its performance in 2007 at the launching ceremony of the new center and said that it sold 70.7 million mobile phones in the China region, which includes Hong Kong and Taiwan, last year and had been a leader for China's mobile phone market for four consecutive years.
