China Consumers' Association has expressed its dissatisfaction with the five public service industries of heating, power supply, banking service, telecom and cable TV service in China.
According to "Public Service Industry Consumer Comment" released by CCA, there are such problems as unreasonable charging, unfair operation rules, inconsistent service clauses, incomplete regulation standards and inadequate service quality in these public service sectors.
CCA has submitted consumers' comments on these industries to the concerned government oversight departments and it has received a reply from the departments saying that they have plans to improve their service. Among them, the Ministry of Information Industry says it will carry out a comprehensive campaign against the problems like illegal content sending, false advertising and poor after-sales services.
