IBM To Set Up Global E-commerce Platform In Hangzhou

Cai Qi, mayor of Hangzhou, disclosed at the Medium and Small Enterprise E-commerce Application and Development Conference that IBM (IBM) will soon set up a global e-commerce platform in the city.
Cai said that both the global vice president and e-commerce director of IBM had come to Hangzhou recently to inspect the city and they decided to open an global e-commerce platform in the city.
Cai said that the reason for IBM and other companies such as Alibaba and Netease to choose Hangzhou was the human resource talent advantage of the city. Currently, there are 37 institutes of higher learning in Hangzhou.
