Taiwan media reports that Lenovo is going to outsource the production of its IdeaPad series laptop computer to Taiwan PC manufacturers, including Quanta.
The reports say that Lenovo plans to have three Taiwan PC OEMs of Quanta, Compal Electronics, and Wistron manufacture its IdeaPad computers of IdeaPad Y510, Y410 and U110 and it is likely that it will ask the latter three to produce all of its IdeaPad products in the future.
Early this year, Lenovo released Idea PCs for individual consumers, which include IdeaPad laptop and IdeaCenter desktop.
