Chen Joins UFIDA's Board Of Directors

Chinese software company UFIDA has placed Dr. Pehong Chen, CEO of BroadVision, on its board of directors.
"Dr. Chen is a world-renowned expert and leader in enterprise software. As a pioneer in e-business solutions, he has an impressive track record, both as an entrepreneur and an executive, in building successful and innovative companies in the global marketplace," said Wang Wenjing, chairman and CEO of UFIDA in a prepared statement. "We are thrilled to have Dr. Chen joining our board as an independent director. Our company will benefit tremendously from his guidance and insight, particularly his deep experience in IT globalization."
Dr. Chen founded BroadVision in 1993 and took the company public in 1996. Prior to that, he was vice-president of Multimedia Technology at Sybase, responsible for the company's interactive initiatives. In 1993, he provided startup capital for Siebel Systems, now a worldwide leader in front office automation software, and served on its board of directors until 1996.
