China Mobile's (CHL) Pakistan Company held a grand ceremony on April 5 for the release of the company's new brand "ZONG".

Wang Jianzhou, CEO of China Mobile, says that the new brand is not only a brand of the Pakistan branch, but also an international brand for China Mobile.

In February, 2007, China Mobile acquired Paktel, the fifth largest mobile communications operator in Pakistan. Until now, it has invested up to US$860 million in Pakistan. In 2008, China Mobile plans to invest an additional US$800 million in Pakistan to enhance the communications network coverage and after-sales service there and to create ZONG into a top brand of the region.

   Zong is not soo attractive.like its tariff is not different from other,like when telenor came they introduced a new thing that was EASY LOAD but ZONG is not offering some unique things.

   Zong's offers are not attractive like ufone's pakages. I don't know that his network is cheap and wide or not. SMS pakages should be given like ufone, telenor, or Warid Telecom.

    Its nice to know that Pakistan and China have come more closer by estalishing china's mobile company "zong".
    Zong has brought exciting call rates, packages and lots of job opportunities.
