China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television has issued a license for online broadcasting of audio and video programs to Voole, which is the fourth privately-run video website in China to get the license following joy.cn, 51tv.net and netandtv.com.
Voole is a video website that specializes in paid program ordering. The website's business ranges from film and soap operas to cartoons. The license that the company obtains this time will be valid from April 30, 2008 to April 30, 2011.
A representative from Voole says that they have been issued the license mainly because of their strict audit on copyright and content. All the content that Voole is operating right now is apparently legitimate.
