Motorola May Enter Foshan Innovation Park As RFID Solutions Provider

According to Chinabyte.com, Cisco (CSCO) and Motorola (MOT) may enter Guangdong's Foshan Innovation Industry Park as RFID solution providers.
A representative from Foshan Chancheng District Trade Bureau says that the market demand for RFID applications is significant in the District. Therefore they will work out a series of policies to support the development of the sector. Six companies, including Cisco and Motorola, are discussing with them on the entry into the district as RFID solution providers.
Foshan will be built into the first RFID technology application demonstration area of China and will serve as a base for the display and trade of Guangdong's RFID industry.
