Gehua Will Set Up JV To Promote Value-added Service

Beijing Gehua CATV Network Co., Ltd, a leading cable television service provider in China, has signed with LGI China Holdings, BV, PRC VP Beijing Broadband L.P. on forming a joint venture to promote the development of value-added services.
The JV, with a total investment of USD100 million, will provide Internet services to local residents and business clients through Gehua's network.
Gehua will invest USD17.034 million to take 51% stake in the JV and it will provide network support, computer hosting and client service support for the JV to make a profit.
Up till now, Gehua has transformed television network for more than 1 million users, but its individual broadband user number is still no more than 100,000.
