Tencent's Tenpay and Spring Airlines Company Limited announced a strategic cooperation on June 3 to jointly develop a new management pattern for air ticket marketing to promote the growth of budget airline services.
According to the agreement, Tencent will help Spring Airlines optimize its basic IT system, build a unified online traveler client relations management platform, and make Tenpay Spring Airlines' payment channel and settlement platform of choice. The CRM platform will enable Spring Airlines' interaction with its clients, advance its online marketing capacity and develop a new pattern for its air ticket selling.
During their cooperation, the parties will jointly set up Tencent-Spring Airlines Joint Ticket Purchasing Platform, and operate and promote the combined services to help travelers book and pay air tickets via Internet or mobile phones or even choose a seat or check-in online.
In addition, the parties will set up a Spring Airline Tenpay Payment Special area to offer preferential air tickets and travel services for both members of Tenpay and Tencent's QQ.
