Kingsoft Will Forge JV In Vietnam

Chinese software provider Kingsoft has signed two agreements in Vietnam and will set up a joint venture with partners in the country.
Kingsoft will invest USD199,000 in the JV which will be co-established between the company and the two Vietnam partners of DEC Communications Co. Ltd and Phan Dang Khoa, each of whom will invest USD500,000 and USD301,000, respectively in the company.
Kingsoft's JV will be located in Hanoi, Vietnam. It will be responsible for making, processing and distributing the company's software products, offering mobile and information designing, making and value-added service, and acting as an agent for Kingsoft's Internet service.
