China National Data Center Lands In Jinan

China National Data Center, which has been constructed by China Netcom, has been unveiled in Jinan, Shandong Province.
Featuring a strong earthquake resistance Internet data center that can help ensure clients' data and equipment safety in times of earthquakes, the center can realize high speed Internet connections and it will undertake network data exchange and external exchanges of Shandong Province.
At present, Shandong Province has about 22% of the total users of China Netcom in the ten provinces in northern China. In late March, China Netcom held a telephone conference and set up a special IDC operation team consisted of about ten staff. Meanwhile, the company planned to unveil IDC services in the second quarter of the year and named it as China Netcom National Data Center.
