Guangdong Unicom Will Make Adjustment On GPRS Costs

Guangdong Unicom says it will make a major adjustment on its GPRS network access costs from July 1.
According to a a source at the company, the adjustment will involve users of many number sections of 130, 131, 132 and 156, which cover nearly all the number sections of Guangdong Unicom.
There will be three cost options under the adjustment. The first is the CNY1 for every one megabyte used, the second is the CNY1 per day for daily preferential package with a limit to five megabytes, and the third is the CNY200 monthly package with a limit to 100 megabytes.
The company's rival Guangdong Mobile may soon follow the suit to adjust its online cost following Guangdong Unicom's move.
