Online video website Ku6.com has been sued by the film marketing and planning branch of China Film Group Corporation for copyright infringement of its film "Red Cliff" and the case has been accepted by Haidian People's Court, Beijing.
According to news from 163.com, the plaintiff, China Film Group Corporation, is the copyright owner of "Red Cliff" in mainland China. However, Ku6.com offered the film through its website without the approval of China Film Group Corporation. This behavior has constituted a copyright infringement.
