Online video website Ku6.com has been sued by the film marketing and planning branch of China Film Group Corporation for copyright infringement of its film "Red Cliff" and the case has been accepted by Haidian People's Court, Beijing.
According to news from 163.com, the plaintiff, China Film Group Corporation, is the copyright owner of "Red Cliff" in mainland China. The plaintiff requires Ku6.com to immediately stop the infringement, pay compensation of CNY550,000. and pay the legal fees of CNY50,000.
