Chinese software and game provider Kingsoft has just launched its largest recruitment plan since being listed in Hong Kong on October 9, 2007.
According to the plan, Kingsoft will employ about 500 new employees, which is about one quarter of the number of Kingsoft's current employees. An insider says that 90% of the new employees will be research staff, which will make the members of Kingsoft's research team top 1,500, accounting for over 60% of the company's total employees.
CEO of Kingsoft Qiu Bojun says that the competition in game and software industries is actually a competition of talents and Kingsoft will pay to grab the best talents in China.
At the same time, the company plans to buy a piece of land that is next to its newly built research and development building in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province to develop a software park.
