Lenovo's General Manager For Consumer Laptop Department Resigns

Zhang Hui, Lenovo's (LNVGY) vice president and general manager for its consumer laptop worldwide business department, has resigned.
As a major assistant of Liu Jun, Lenovo Group's senior vice president and president in charge of the group's global consumer business, Zhang has been responsible for consumer laptops launched by Lenovo in overseas markets, while Jia Zhaohui is in charge of the consumer desktops.
Joining Lenovo in 1993, Zhang has worked in the group for about 15 years. He started at the grassroots level and has worked in many sectors, including customer marketing; regional and national marketing design; advertisement promotion; product planning; product purchasing and production management; channel planning and management; and customer development and maintenance. Over the past few years, Zhang has been committed to laptop marketing for now faced with a global financial crisis, there are worries within the technology sector that consumer computing products will see slower forthcoming sales.
As for Zhang's successor, Lenovo says no relevant information is yet available.
