This article still says nothing about China's Software. Every month there's an article that China's software industry has grown year-on-year. But what part of the software industry? What types of software? What types of applications? Is this domestic softare only? or software development thats been out-sourced to china? There is not enough transparency here.
The website for China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has more info on the report here. Most of the emphasis seems to be on the the specific "software product" sector.
