Business travelers in China have a solution to expedite travel as China Eastern has launched online check-in service for domestic flights departing from Shanghai Pudong Airport.
With this service, passengers who buy electronic air tickets for domestic flights departing from Shanghai Pudong Airport can log onto China Eastern's website to choose their flight, input personal information and click the mouse to confirm before they can select their favorite seat and print a boarding pass on a piece of A4 paper. And they don't need to visit the airport check-in counters to confirm; with their boarding pass and their ID card, travelers can go directly to their airline gates.
Passengers who need to deliver luggage or who have lost their boarding pass can go to the airport's online check-in counter to have the luggage delivered or reprint a new boarding pass.
