Chinese online travel company Ctrip.com has announced the establishment of its twelfth branch in Sanya to expand the holiday and leisure market there.
It is the first time for Ctrip.com to set a branch in a pure holiday destination. Ten of the other eleven branches are located at business cities around China.
Sanya, located in Hainan province, is one of Ctrip.com's important holiday destinations, and about 300,000 tourists go to Sanya through Ctrip.com's service each year. The new branch will further promote the sales of holiday products and enhance Ctrip.com's advantages in Sanya routes.
Currently free tour, car rental, one-day-tour and nearly 1,000 routes are available by Ctrip.com in Sanya.
Ctrip.com is China's first online travel service provider to have a full branch in Sanya.
