The world's top tourism review website TripAdvisor has officially launched its Chinese website, Daodao.com, offering Chinese travelers with local information, reviews and recommended hotels.
TripAdvisor's global community has reviews and suggestions of about 68,000 cities, 400,000 hotels and 90,000 spots around the world. Chinese travelers can make choices with the help of the site. The reviews, photos, video sharing and map functions enable travelers to easily be a member of the community and share their experiences with other travelers in the world.
Aside from these functions, Daodao.com has also highlighted China-related information, such as the popularity ranking list for each type of hotel. Currently, Daodao.com has already included data and reviews of 18,000 Chinese hotels.
Daodao.com also provides a marketing platform of pay-per-click advertising and display advertising for its partners such as online travel agencies, hotels, restaurants and airline companies, so the partners will be able to get to high-value customers.
