TripAdvisor, the U.S.-based travel community website, has reached strategic cooperation agreements with eLong.com, etpass.com and Byecity.com on advertising and user-generated review issues.

The three Chinese websites will launch pay-per-click advertisements on TripAdvisor's Chinese website Daodao.com, while reviews from TripAdvisor global will show in the three sites' respective review sections.

ELong and etpass.com both focus on reservation of hotels and air tickets while Byecity.com mainly depends on outbound tourism.

Wu Hao, the general manager of Daodao.com, told local media that the Internet company is now seeking cooperation with Ctrip.com and some chain hotels. It is expected that by the end of 2009, Daodao.com will have 200,000 user-generated reviews.
