Tencent's online payment tool Tenpay has announced a cooperation with Chinese Internet travel company Ctrip.com.
Tenpay users can now log onto Ctrip.com through their Tencent QQ instant messaging accounts to enjoy the one-stop service for ticket queries, airline searches, hotel searches and booking reservations.
In comparison with Ctrip's other cooperative channels, this not only brings convenience to netizens for their travel, but expands Tenpay's service scope to hotel and travel reservations. For Ctrip.com, this cooperation will attract more users while in the meantime lowering its operational costs.
Tencent is the only Internet service senior sponsor of the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, and the World Expo is expecting 70 million visitors next year.
