Microsoft's Chinese competitor Kingsoft is creeping into its turf with a new worldwide distribution deal with U.S.-based BinaryNow Inc.
BinaryNow has become an authorized worldwide online distributor and sales agent for Kingsoft application software products, making Kingsoft Office 2009 and Kingsoft Internet Security 9 Plus a key part of the BinaryNow online product catalog.
"BinaryNow's relationship with Kingsoft Corp is a valuable addition to our product portfolio," said Premysl Pech, president of BinaryNow Inc. "Kingsoft Office and Kingsoft Internet Security provide the best value proposition for alternative productivity and Internet security software on the market today."
Kingsoft Office 2009 is an alternative to Microsoft Office and includes applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation creation. According to BinaryNow, this is the smallest and fastest Microsoft Office alternative on the market with support for the latest Microsoft Office 2007 formats along with native Adobe PDF export.
