Hotels.com, one of the world's top professional hotel chain websites, announced the official launch of its Chinese website, in cooperation with eLong.com.
With the website, Chinese users are now able to visit Hotels.cn to enjoy the convenient hotel reservation service.
Hotel.cn is the joint effort of Hotels.com global and eLong.com. eLong.com's membership platform provides Hotels.com' Chinese users with quick access to know information about 7,000 hotels in more than 400 Chinese cities, including the telephone numbers and payment methods of hotels. Besides, users can also search for information of over 100,000 overseas hotels through the Chinese site and book hotel rooms online.
Hotels.com was put into use in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan in 2008. The new Chinese site is part of the company's development plan for Asia-Pacific region.
Johan Svanstrom, the executive president of Hotels.com Asia-Pacific region, said that the launch of Hotels.cn shows that Hotels.com is focusing more on Chinese market. He believes the combination of Hotels.com's rich overseas hotel information and the local professional service combined with the local hotel directory offered by eLong.com will be the best choice for customers.
