Chinese search engine company Baidu.com has announced that its current statistics service will be closed on July 28, 2009, and a new edition of this service will be released in mid-August.
The company said that after a one-year development period, the new edition of its statistics service will be launched with a new technology structure, aiming to provide more stable and professional online advertising and website statistics services to its users. The new edition of statistics service will fully replace its beta test edition and the former statistics service will be closed from July 28.
In addition, the company warned that because the new edition adopts a new system structure, the statistics provided during the beta test period will not be maintained and users are recommended to backup their files in advance.
