TCL Group's LCD TV Sales Up 60.3% In June 2009

Chinese electronics maker TCL Group has published its sales statistics for June 2009.
According to the report, the group sold 616,898 LCD TVs during the month, a year-on-year increase of 60.3%; it sold 342,353 CRT TVs, a year-on-year decrease of 56.1%; and it sold 1,973,910 AV products, a year-on-year increase of 33.6%.
For home appliances products, the company sold 123,579 air-conditioners in June 2009, increasing 22.60% compared with the same period of last year; it sold 77,492 refrigerators, increasing 10.74% year-on-year; and it sold 20,662 washing machines, decreasing 28.67%.
For the mobile communications sector, the company sold 1,016,851 mobile phones, a decrease of 12.32% over the previous year.
In addition, the report reveals that the company's audited revenue results for 2008 show that 61.37% of its total revenue was from the multimedia electronics sector, 10.77% was from the mobile communications sector, and 9.52% was from the home appliances sector.
