NetEase.com's Game Channel To Return In China

Chinese portal and online game provider NetEase.com has announced plans to recruit about 20 editors for its game channel, which is expected to be reopened after closed for over two years.
According to a report published by NetEase.com, it will employ 19 to 22 employees this time, covering editors and reporters, and these new staff will focus on news and products information of the busy Chinese game industry.
An insider from the company revealed that the manager for this channel has been decided and the person will in charge of the construction of the entire channel. After the setting up of the new game channel, NetEase.com may launch new recruitment as the project grows. The insider did not mention the date for the reopening of this channel.
In September 2006, NetEase.com announced the closure four online channels, including the game channel. At that time, the company said the reason for closing the game channel was to focus its resources on core channels which were rich with information and had higher business value.
