Chinese telecom equipment provider Datang Telecom Technology Company has launched three new communications products, including the world's first electronics reading device based solely on China Mobile's TD-SCDMA technology.
The company's new products also include a mobile phone service that allows users to change their mobile phone interfaces at any time and a new gaming mobile phone named U-game.
Cao Bin, chairman and president of Datang Telecom, told local media that the company is currently creating a TD-SCDMA-oriented industry chain that covers data cards, electronic reading products, and "family information gadgets". The company will continue to adjust its industry structure to promote its healthy development in industries such as microelectronics, software, terminal, access, and industry application.
Earlier this month, Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry also announced additional investment for the development of e-book devices.
