Chinese Internet company Sina.com has cooperated with eight Chinese universities, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, in the launch of its Sina Networking Academy program.
With this program, Sina.com will help these universities train talents in technical development and operating maintenance sectors. Meanwhile, students that participate in this program will be able to master practical information technology skills to enhance their competitiveness in gaining employment.
According to a representative from the academy, they started to accept applications from September 1, 2009, and the targets are third-year university students and first-year graduates of computer-related majors. Applicants will study three to six months in the academy after passing the examination and those outstanding students will be included in Sina.com's future internship and recruitment plans.
